It was an committed success that showcased the event of "FIRE & SAFETY Project" for following Two Events of the day
A. Unveiling of Posters for Standard Instructions to be followed in event of FIRE and
B. Inauguration of Successful testing of New Fire Engine Scorpal with 175 Ft height reaching capacity.
This projects is our Clubs Thrust project with an Joint Initiative of our club along with Dept of Thane Fire Brigade and MCHI ( Maharashtra Chambers of Housing Industries). Last time on 28th April 2010 during the OCV of IPDG T N Raju we had made it an successful effort on launch of Website www.thanefirebrigade.com This website is fully operational and maintained by Rotary Club of Thane Garden City which will give all required information on Awareness and Contact Nos of the Fire Stations. This was to be followed by an step forward to spread the awareness to all the adjoining community and Commercial spaces on "Precautions and Steps to take on SAFETY in event of FIRE by Distributing Posters in both English and Marathi.
The Program was graced with the attendance of TOP Notches – TMC Commissioner Hon'ble Mr Rajiv , Mayor Shri Ashok Vaity and DG Rtn Jayant Kulkarni. The program started with warm welcome of Guests and with fellowship ensuring the efforts put on this Project by the team in the past and in future was well explained to the Dignitaries over the laptop with our Way forward to make this project a Success feather in the CAP of R C of Thane Garden City. The Program then taken forward to Unveiling of Posters on Fire & Safety with Inauguration of Successful testing of New Fire Engine Scorpal with 175 Ft height. The program was witnessed by crowd of 500+ Residents of Raheja and adjoining community. The basic qualification for the project was met with stupendous presentation by the Project Chairman – Rtn Sandeep Karnavat, followed by Satisfactory remarks by TMC Commissioner – Shri Rajiv and Mayor Shri Vaity and DG Jayant.
